May be this might offend but don't we realize dat prostitution can be viewed with a diff state of mind...If the females involved in it are happy with it and are getting paid for taking male sexual desires away then we should not be having any problem with the same..as a matter of fact these ladies are just making those men pour out their sexual desires or horrendous behaviour on them instead of attacking immature girls, ladies who are travelling or alone at home..i dont know if i have actually made my point clear enough to be understood but i m sure it cant be completely wrong..

Its strange that people ask to make prostitution legal. At the same time, I agree with Henry Misquith that women won't dare doing prostitution alone.

Women end up in flesh trade out of force or enticement (with exception of some who plunge to it out of poverty). But a man will visit there for pleasure, which, he could avoid if he lived a normal family life. If there was no such facility, he would have obviously married and settled.

Its very difficult for a woman, once introduced to this activity (either out of enticement of force) to return to the society, one reason being they become victims of various diseases and secondly fear of being socially rejected.

Making prostitution legal isn't the solution but rehabilitating women from the den along with their children is more crucial. Else, the trend will continue - a prostitute's daughter will become second generation prostitute and the son a pimp.

Why Indian government doesn't make this legal... Prostitution has been there since thousands of years, everyone knows about this. There are so many places in India involved in prostitution. These cops might have caught these people as they might have not given money on time. And it clearly says that earlier too they had complaints on them, So it clearly shows that what is the truth
