Sad news.. Lets pray for the poor students for a speedy recovery. Unfortunate that these needy students are supplied with leftover food.. without proper storage. Hope the concerned department will take necessary actions so that such incidents will not happen in other hostels too...

I feel sorry for the students who ate the leftover fish curry. I am sure it was not stored properly. The authorities of MORARJI DESAI RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL should probe the matter fully and find the reason for such a incident as many young lives would have been lost. Only God saved the kids as you know there are many cases of food poisoning in many festivals.

We all eat leftover fish curry even after 3 days. it just requires heating upto boil twice daily if there is no refrigerator, Nothing will happen. Even if it spoils you just get lose motions but definitely not vomiting. Here it looks it was contaminated from outside or the container that was used was not food grade/unsuitable for sour foods.

There must have been some negligence while storing. This may not be the first time that the left over curry was served. If the curry was without problem the previous night, there should not have been problem the next day. Most of us do not throw away the extra food and we find no harm in consuming the same the next day. An inquiry may help to find out the problem and help in avoiding the same in future.

You are right Mr.Anand. It should be stored properly. Also someone from the kitchen dept. please check the condition of the food. If spoiled you make out while you are making it hot. Everyone is learning from their mistakes. Get well soon all the childres.

poor students...why they served leftover fish or any curry to the boys? Lazy Management should stop serve 2 or 3 days back food for the children and provide fresh food in every day .
