Goa, Jan 12: BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade has reaffirmed the alliance between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP), stating that both parties will contest the 2027 elections together.
However, he emphasized that it would be premature to discuss seat-sharing arrangements at this stage.
Tanavade expressed concerns over recent public statements by the MGP regarding specific constituencies, especially those with sitting BJP MLAs. "Being in an alliance, MGP should refrain from making such public statements," he said, underscoring the need for mutual understanding and cooperation between the two allies.
