B-Town Wishes Farhan Akhtar A Happy 38th Birthday

Mumbai, Jan 9: Actor-turned-film maker Farhan Akhtar celebrates his birthday on Monday January 9. Farhan, who has more reasons to party with his two recent hits 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' and 'Don 2: The King Is Back', turns 38 on this birthday.

Farhan celebrated his birthday shooting for 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' with Sonam Kapoor.

Son of writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar, Farhan, made his directorial debut with 'Dil Chahta Hai' back in 2001, and seven years later in 2008 he made his acting debut with 'Rock On!!' which turned out to be a great hit. He is more popularly known for the youthful tinge he adds to his films.

Celebrities from the film industry took to micro-blogging site Twitter to wish him. Sonam Kapoor's tweet read: "My first shoot with the birthday boy @FarOutAkhtar today. Really looking forward to it!" Also Shabana Azmi tweeted saying, "Happy birthday Farhan 'jeete raho khush raho sehatmand raho' ". Neil Nitin Mukesh's tweet read: "@FarOutAkhtar Happy birthday bro. All the best. Always!!! Lots of love."
