Mumbai, Jan 12: The scheduled shoot timings for 'Lootera', starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha, has gone haywire, all thanks to the weather Gods.
After finishing their shooting in Mumbai, the cast and crew of 'Lootera' were making arrangements to move to another scheduled location at Kalatop near Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh. However, the shoot did not take place as there was heavy snowfall in the area since a week. With no power lines in the area, it was impossible to begin shooting. It is also learnt that the expensive set that was erected at Kalatop has been ruined.
To further add to their woes, it is reported that Ranveer himself could not make it for two whole days as all the roads were covered in thick snow.
Once, the snow started melting, Ranveer made his way to the sets, only to see it cancelled as the sets were ruined incurring a loss of around Rs 10 lac.
For now, the Dalhousie shoot is most likely to be kept for later.
The movie is a classic love story set in the 1950s and is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane of Udaan fame. 'Lootera' is scheduled to hit theatres on October 26 on the occasion of Bakrid.
