Dublin, Mar 16: The All Ireland Tuluvera Association (AITA) organised a spectacular event, AITA Summilana 2025, held at the Tallaght Theatre in Dublin on March 9. The event celebrated the vibrant Tulu culture and was a tremendous success, drawing an enthusiastic crowd from across Ireland.
The programme began with a heartfelt prayer, beautifully sung by Thananya Prabhu & Thannishk Prabhu, setting a serene tone for the evening. The master of ceremonies, Rahul Shetty, then took the stage, welcoming the esteemed guests and audience, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.

































A special moment followed as Ilyas Hussain, the president of AITA, was invited to the stage to officially begin the proceedings. He called upon the guests of honour, Sandeep Shetty, Prasanna Shetty, and Sharath Uchila from team Prashamsa Kaup, to join him for a symbolic lighting of the Deepa (lamp), representing the triumph of light over darkness, marking the official start of the program.
Adding to the excitement, the new AITA logo was unveiled during the event by the trio from Prashamsa. This marked an important milestone for AITA as it continues to evolve and expand its cultural footprint within Ireland and beyond.
The highlight of the evening was the performance by the renowned Team Prashamsa from Mangaluru, India. Known for their excellent comedic talent, the team brought an infectious energy to the event. The trio, consisting of Sandeep Shetty, Prasanna Shetty, and Sharath Uchila, were honoured with a special felicitation by AITA officials, acknowledging their significant contribution to the entertainment world.
The stage was then taken over by the Prashamsa Kaup team, who performed a special segment from their new show, comedy shots. Their performance was nothing short of spectacular, leaving the audience in absolute stitches.
The team’s unique style of humour and impeccable timing had the crowd roaring with laughter, and many were left in tears from the sheer joy of their comedic brilliance. It was a perfect blend of light-hearted fun and clever storytelling, ensuring that the evening’s entertainment was one to be remembered.
After the laughter-filled comedy shots performance, the fun continued with a lively housie-house game, which engaged everyone in the audience. Participants eagerly joined in the game, and the excitement grew as prizes were awarded to the lucky winners, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the event.
The highlight of the evening was the interactive session with members of team Prashamsa, where they shared behind-the-scenes insights into their comedic performances and the impact of humour in bringing people together. Their light-hearted anecdotes and playful banter added an extra layer of fun to the event, leaving the crowd in fits of laughter.
The sponsors of the evening were acknowledged for their support, with Raghunadh Shetty from Nitya Foods, Ivan Dantis from i1 Woodcraft Concepts, and representatives from Financial Life gracing the event. Their generous contributions helped make AITA Summilana 2025 a grand success.
As the event drew to a close, Gunasheela Shetty, chairman of AITA, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks. He expressed gratitude to all the performers, sponsors, guests, volunteers, and attendees for their support in making the event memorable. His speech highlighted the importance of community and cultural preservation, underscoring AITA’s commitment to fostering a strong Tulu community in Ireland.
To end the evening on a delightful note, refreshments were provided to all the participants, allowing everyone to socialise, enjoy the company of friends and family, and reflect on the wonderful time they had during the event.
