Bhopal, Mar 21: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has stated that the state’s ambitious river-linking project is progressing at a rapid pace, marking a significant step towards water conservation and irrigation expansion.
Addressing a gathering, Yadav highlighted the government's commitment to interlinking rivers to address water scarcity, boost agriculture, and ensure equitable water distribution across the state. He emphasized that the project would enhance irrigation facilities, benefiting farmers and improving agricultural productivity.

"The river-linking initiative is a game-changer for Madhya Pradesh. It will not only provide a sustainable water supply but also contribute to economic growth and rural development," Yadav said.
The CM credited the Centre’s support for accelerating the project and assured that the government is working diligently to complete it on time. He also urged stakeholders to collaborate in making Madhya Pradesh a model state for water management and conservation.
