Gurugram, Apr 9: A shocking crime of passion has surfaced from Binola village near Gurugram, where a 24-year-old married woman was allegedly murdered by her lover during a heated altercation over her involvement with another man.

The deceased, identified as Neelam, lived in a rented house with her husband and was employed locally. As per police reports, Neelam was reportedly in relationships with two men – Vinod and Sudhir.

The incident unfolded on Monday evening when Neelam’s husband returned home and witnessed Vinod engaged in a furious argument with her. The argument, according to his statement, escalated after Vinod confronted Neelam about her affair with Sudhir.

Despite Neelam’s repeated pleas for him to leave, Vinod, in a fit of rage, allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her in the stomach. The grievously injured woman was rushed to the Civil Hospital in Rewari, where she tragically succumbed to her injuries.

The local police launched an immediate investigation and arrested the accused, Vinod, on Tuesday. He hails from Kandhwachak village in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

Further inquiry is underway to unravel the complete details of the tragic love triangle that ended in murder.
