Doha: Stage Set for Soad-3 International Qatar Prelims, Semi-final

Doha, Jan 19: Doha is all to host the Qatar prelims of 'Soad 3-International' - a TV reality singing contest. The Qatar prelims will be held on Friday January 20 and winners of the preliminary rounds will then compete in the semi-final round to be held on Sunday January 22.

Mangalore Cricket Club along with Mandd Sobhann will be hosting the Qatar prelims and semi-final.

Mandd Sobhann team arrived in Doha on January 18 to shoot the preliminary and semi-final of Soad 3-International. Louis Pinto, producer of Soad 3, chief technician Reevan Martis, musicians Roshan D'Souza, Sachin Sequeira, Richard Monteiro and Alwyn Fernandes (Bangalore) along with judges Eric Ozario and Apolnaris D'Souza from Muscat are all set to conduct the prelims and semi-final here in Doha.

There has been very good response and the interest is building up among the participants as vigorous practices are going on.

This contest is keenly looked forward to by the aspiring participants as they compete with each other for the prestigious title 'Rai Kogull' and 'Rani Kogull – International'

The contest is a studio recording and not conducted as a live public show.
