Trump warns Iran of unmatched retaliation as Israel-Iran conflict intensifies

New York, Jun 15: Former U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran amid the intensifying conflict between Tehran and Tel Aviv, declaring that any attack on American interests would provoke an unprecedented military response.

Posting on Truth Social late Sunday, Trump distanced the United States from the latest strikes on Iranian soil while delivering a sharp cautionary message. “The US had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight,” he stated. “If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before. However, we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!!!”

Trump’s statement comes as the Middle East faces one of its most dangerous escalations in recent years, with Iran and Israel locked in direct military confrontation for the third consecutive day.

On Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed a sweeping offensive on critical Iranian military assets, including the headquarters of Iran’s Defence Ministry and the SPND, an institution linked to the country’s nuclear research. Israeli officials also claimed to have targeted a covert site believed to house Iran’s hidden nuclear archives.

In retaliation, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched strikes targeting Israel’s energy grid and aviation fuel infrastructure. Air raid sirens echoed across key Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, underscoring the magnitude of Iran’s response.

These developments follow the launch of Israel’s Operation “Rising Lion” on Friday, aimed at dismantling Iranian nuclear and military capabilities. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended the offensive, calling it a necessary step to neutralize what he termed an “existential threat” from Iran. “This operation will continue for as many days as it takes to remove this threat,” Netanyahu declared.

As regional tensions soar, Trump reiterated his call for diplomacy, urging Iran to reengage in talks. “Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left,” he warned, underscoring his belief that negotiation remains the only viable off-ramp from what many fear could spiral into a wider regional war.
