Baghpat, Jun 17: In a dramatic scene that has gone viral on social media, a woman was caught on camera jumping off a 12-foot-high wall of an OYO hotel in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat, allegedly to flee from her husband and in-laws after being caught with her lover.

The incident occurred in the Baraut area, where the married woman had reportedly checked into a hotel with her boyfriend. Upon receiving a tip-off, her in-laws, along with her husband and a Dial 112 police team, reached the spot.

As soon as she saw them, the woman, with her face covered in a cloth, panicked and attempted to flee. A viral video shows her leaping from the back window of the hotel, crashing down and running from the scene.

It is reported that the woman and her husband were already engaged in a legal dispute, and tensions had been building. The husband has claimed that he fears for his life and suspects a threat from his wife and her alleged lover.

Despite the public nature of the incident and the video circulating widely, police have not registered any official complaint, nor has any legal action been initiated so far.
