May the soul of VARADARAJ rest in eternal peace and give comfort to the bereaved family and friends. Where did the guy go after the hit and run accident. The police should find out the culprit and given the maximum punishment by the court of law. Also the family of the deceased will get the maximum benefits.

    THIS IS VERY DISTURBING.

WE ARE FORCED TO UNDERGO THE TRAUMA OF SEEING/HEARING PEOPLE UNTIMELY SUCCUMBING TO SUCH AVOIDABLE ROAD MISHAPS.

I HAVE NOTICED DRIVERS TAKING EXCEPTIONAL RISK ON HIGHWAYS IN OUR TOWNS DURING MY RECENT HOLIDAYS.

AT TIMES I FELT GOD IS SAVING PEOPLE IN A FRACTION OF A SECOND.

THE OVERTAKES OF EXPRESS BUSES, THE OVERCONFIDENT BIKERS, THE JAYWALKERS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY DRUNK DRIVERS ARE INCREASING DAY BY DAY.

A LITTLE PATIENCE, A LITTLE ALLOWANCE FOR ONCOMING DRIVER AND SAFE DRIVING HABITS CAN GO A LONG WAY IN REDUCING SUCH UNINTENDED CATASTROPHIC INCIDENTS.

ONCE AGAIN I ASK THE SAME QUESTION,

WHERE ARE WE GOING SO FAST AND HOW FAR?

main problem here every tom, dick and harry knows the MLA Mp,corporator and some local man who is a minister.when they are caught they call their good friend and he calls police and says let him go.our politicians should not encourage thse goons who are breaking the law.if our elected reps are helping them they too are breaking the law.most of my comments are never published.i dont know the reason.

driving on NH 66 is a nightmare for law abiding driver.I am surprised police do nothing when they see these dangerous drivers speeding at a high speed in udupi town.many are talking on cellphone no action taken to confiscate their phones.cops only trouble out station drivers on a small pretext to fine you as he has to show he has done some thing for the day.udupi cops better pull up your stockings otherwise many innocent lives will be lost.

I am very sorry to hear this case. However, this is very easy hit n run on our roads in mangalore were police patrolling is very limited. We need more police patrolling on the roads to catch rash drivers, and who broke the traffic rules, dangerous parking on the road side etc.

If those guys stopped the car n took the constable to hospital his life would have been saved. I feel may be this vehicle was carrying contraband items n fled away. Must be caught n punished.
