Washington, Sep 8: US President Donald Trump expressed displeasure on Sunday after Russia launched its largest-ever aerial strike on Ukraine, leaving four people dead and several injured. The barrage also set government offices ablaze in Kyiv, marking one of the most intense assaults since the conflict began.
Speaking to reporters, Trump said, “I’m not happy. I’m not happy about the whole situation. I am not thrilled with what’s happening there.”

The attack, carried out early Sunday, targeted multiple cities and was described by Ukrainian officials as the heaviest wave of strikes to date. Emergency services in Kyiv battled flames at government buildings as rescue operations continued.
The US administration is closely monitoring the developments, though Trump has yet to announce any new measures in response to Moscow’s escalation.
