Bengaluru, Sep 10: Konkani Kulvar Association celebrated Monthi Fest at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Halasuru on September 8.
Veneration of Mother Mary and blessing of new Paddy followed by concelebrated holy Mass in Konkani by Fr Melwin Pinto SJ, Fr Francis D’Souza, Fr Maria Luis (parish priest), Fr Joseph Anthony (assistant parish priest).
Choir was led by Renny Lobo and Pramila Rodrigues gave the welcome speech. Sunil Fernandes rendered the vote of thanks. Six Students were honoured for their meritorious academic success.
Association president Dr Ajith Royan addressed the gathering and thanked all the members for their efforts, support, and contributions in making a memorable one.
New Paddy was distributed sponsored by Sylvian Noronha. Sugarcane and breakfast was arranged after the mass.
