Udupi, Sep 12: Lords International Residential School, Udupi, established in 2023 and managed by the Kediyoor Educational Trust (R), has achieved a significant milestone by securing CBSE affiliation (No. 831576) from the CBSE Board, New Delhi, for the academic year 2025–26.
Nestled in the serene surroundings of Jnanakashi Campus, Nittur, Udupi, Lords offers classes from nursery to grade 9, with grade 10 to be introduced next year.

The institution is the brainchild of Bhuvanendra Kediyoor, chairman of the Kediyoor Educational Trust (R) and founder of the school. A passionate educationist and humanitarian, his mission is to transform society through education. Guided by his vision, “Today you lead the school, tomorrow your students will lead the world,” Lords was founded not just to educate, but to inspire and nurture young minds into confident, compassionate global citizens.
Treasurer and trustee of the trust, Dr Bhavyashree Kediyoor, oversees the school and supports its growth with a focus on students and the institution.
The school began its journey in the academic year 2024–25, welcoming its first batch of students. At the helm is principal Myrtle L F Lewis, an educationist with over 40 years of experience, including 35 years in leadership roles. Taking charge in 2024–25, she continues to lead the institution to greater heights, ensuring holistic education rooted in values and future-ready skills. Supporting her is vice principal Roopa Ashok Shetty, who brings rich CBSE experience and coordinates academic programmes to meet the diverse needs of students.
Currently, the school has over 100 students, supported by a team of more than 25 highly qualified staff members. Teachers serve as mentors, guides, and role models, imparting knowledge, values, and life skills to help students thrive in every aspect of life.
Lords offers a holistic learning experience, emphasizing 21st-century skills such as creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration, while also instilling values like honesty, empathy, discipline, and respect. With a global outlook, students are exposed to international awareness and cultural diversity. Through experiential learning, they engage in projects, activities, and skill-based education.
The campus features world-class infrastructure including smart classrooms, modern labs, e-learning tools, and vibrant sports and art facilities. All classrooms are fully air-conditioned, creating a modern learning environment.
A highlight is the advanced STEM Lab, the first of its kind in Karnataka with an “Immersive STEM Lab under Qwings,” introducing students to AI, AR/VR, IoT, drones, robotics, coding, space, and defence technology. For early learners, the Kindergarten Lab powered by Kreedo offers a play-based, curiosity-driven foundation.
The school also provides a nutritious cafeteria serving vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, along with best-in-class hostel facilities, ensuring a safe and caring residential experience. Comprehensive safety measures are in place, including CCTV surveillance, supervised hostels, regular health check-ups, fire safety systems, and reliable student transportation.
Lords has been honoured with the Best School Infrastructure Award by the Indian School Awards for the academic year 2025–26, further cementing its reputation as one of the region’s premier institutions.
