Mangaluru, Sep 15: KMC Hospital Mangaluru and Avatar Hotel collaborate to host "Cold Cookery Competition" in observance of World Heart Day. The event, "A Healthy Recipe for Every Heart Beat," will challenge teams to create delicious, heart-healthy dishes without the use of fire or heat.
The competition is scheduled for Saturday, September 20, starting at 3 pm at the 1st Floor, Flexi Hall, Avatar Hotel, Mangaluru. Teams interested in participating should register by WhatsApping their details to +91 90081 67071 before September 18. Registration is free but mandatory.
Participants will form teams of up to three people and will have 50 minutes to craft their culinary creations. The dishes will be judged on three key criteria: taste, presentation, and nutritional value, with a specific focus on promoting heart health. All ingredients must be brought by the teams, and the use of processed or half-cooked items is not permitted. The event aims to highlight that healthy food can also be creative and flavourful.
