Mangalore, Feb 11: Karnataka Agencies, dealers for Mahindra & Mahindra vehicles in the region, launched sleek, styled and spirited new ‘Xylo’ vehicle in the city on Friday February 10. The launching programme was held at the show room of Karnataka Agencies near Kottara Chowki in the city.
The stylish new Xylo has a developed MHAWK engine backed by Extra Stability Technology (EST), Voice Command Technology (VCT), and best of interiors including legroom. It provides feast to the eyes on design with sleek new body contours, styled headlights and spirited stance. It also has additional features like spirited new front grille, sleek chrome accent, contoured bumpers, sporty air dams, curved bonnet, sophisticated body decals, pronounced wheel arches, sporty roof rails, blackened pillars, attractive rear spoiler, new footstep with mud flaps, chrome-tipped body moulding, and clear lens two-tone tail lamps.
It also comes with genuine Italian leather interiors, new two-tone dashboard, glossy wood finish console, stylish new door trims, individual AC vents, foldable snack trays, laptop and mobile charging point, and convenient storage spaces. As far as technology is concerned, it is equipped with digital drive assist system, 2-din music system, electric ORVMS, dual SRS airbags, intellipark reverse assist system, and ABS with EBD. Headlights, wipers, fuel lid, door locks and more can be operated through voice commands because of voice command technology used in the vehicle. The driver receives audio alerts when a safety lapse is detected. Audio system and telephone can be controlled through blue drive technology.
As it has more room, taller people also will feel it comfortable to travel in this vehicle, said R C Rodrigues, managing partner of Karnataka Agencies. He expressed the confidence that this vehicle will have extensive demand in coastal districts.
