Bengaluru, Oct 1: The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report on the skulls recovered during the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into allegations made by Chinnayya regarding burials in Dharmasthala has been submitted.
According to the FSL report, three skulls and bone remains were examined, including the skull produced by Chinnayya in court. The report concluded that:
-
The skull presented by Chinnayya belonged to a male, approximately 40 years of age.
-
A second skull and bones recovered at Spot No. 6 were identified as belonging to a male aged between 25 and 30 years.
-
A third set of remains, found at Spot No. 15 near tree roots, were determined to be those of a male aged between 35 and 39 years.

The report noted that the cause of death for all three individuals could not be ascertained. No signs of fractures or assault-related injuries were found on the bones. Further tests are being conducted to check for possible poisoning, with samples sent to the FSL in Ahmedabad.
Meanwhile, during a later excavation at Banglegudda, seven additional skulls and skeletal remains were recovered. These samples are yet to be sent for forensic examination.
