UK PM Keir Starmer arrives in Mumbai; warmly welcomed by governor and CM

Mumbai, Oct 8: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer arrived in Mumbai this morning, receiving a warm welcome from governor of Maharashtra and Gujarat, Acharya Devvrat and Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The reception was also attended by deputy chief ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, minister Jaykumar Rawal, along with several senior government officials, marking the start of PM Starmer’s official visit to India.
