Its a sad news "May their soul rest in eternal peace". People come from different states for their bread and butter and they become a victim of reckless driving which leads to accident. Traffic rules in mangalore should be more stringent. They should impose speed limits for the the veichles which runs within the city limit. This way we can cut down the accidents.

Forget porngate, forget all religious affiliations and forget all vallentine day issues! The biggest problem in mangalore/udipi is the reckless bus driving which has caused so many deaths and disabilities.Road accident are the single largest kiilers in India and our district must be leading the country. The worst about our district is public apathy towards these mobile killers, bus drivers somehow enjoy a cult following in the coastal district and are immune to all kind of laws and punishment. Let people come out of their cocoon and raise their voice against these marauding drivers.

I feel sorry for the three persons who lost their precious lives in a MRPL bus accident. May their soul rest in eternal peace and give comfort to the bereaved family and friends. These people came all the way from Bihar to make a living and support their family and their destiny was to die here. I hope the company will give them good compensation to their families as they have lost their lively hoods. Good and touching pictures by Spoorthi Ullal. It seems that the bus driver was speeding and hit a pole. I wish speedy recovery for the injured.
