Bengaluru, Nov 3: In a bizarre attempt to dodge traffic police, a Bengaluru biker was spotted riding with a frying pan on his head instead of a helmet, and the video has quickly gone viral on social media. While the stunt has left netizens in stitches, it also underscores the rider’s blatant disregard for road safety.
The unusual incident occurred near Rupena Agrahara, where the biker reportedly tried to evade a fine by strapping the pan onto his head. Motorists and passers-by who witnessed the scene could not contain their laughter, and even the traffic police appeared momentarily taken aback. Undeterred, the rider continued confidently, holding the frying pan as if it were a legitimate helmet.

Although the footage has amused many online, it also sparked a debate on traffic safety. Netizens were quick to point out that helmets are life-saving equipment, not props for viral content. Some humorously suggested that frying pans should remain in the kitchen, not on a rider’s head.
Commenting on the incident, the Karnataka state police posted a cautionary note on 'X': "A humble request to all riders: follow traffic rules. ‘Jugaad’ or attempting to evade fines through silly stunts is not acceptable. Always wear a helmet. Bengaluru traffic is tough, and your head is equally fragile in a fall. Keep your frying pans in the kitchen, not on your head. Be smart, be safe."
While the episode has sparked widespread amusement, it serves as a serious reminder of the importance of adhering to traffic regulations and wearing helmets for personal safety.
