Mangaluru, Nov 24: Billava Sangha Kuwait (BSK) proudly marks the tenth year of its education programme, dedicated to supporting less privileged yet deserving students of the community. Inspired by Brahma Shree Narayana Guru’s profound message, ‘Education Liberates Oneself,’ BSK launched this scholarship initiative in 2016 in collaboration with Shree Guru Charitable Trust, Surathkal, Mangaluru.
The 2025 Scholarship Distribution and Motivation Programme was held on Sunday, November 23, at the Adhyaksha Koragappa Memorial Hall, Shree Gokarnanatha Kshetra, Kudroli, Mangaluru.







BSK president Amarnath Suvarna shared valuable insights into the organisation’s journey and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the BSK members for their generous contributions toward this noble cause. He also thanked the Shree Guru Charitable Trust for their dedicated survey efforts, which play a vital role in making the education programme successful. Suvarna, along with BSK members, conveyed blessings and best wishes to all participating students.
During the event, Sateesh Kunder (former BSK Advisor), Hemanth Suvarna (BSK Committee Member), and Vijeth Poojary Thumbe (BSK Committee Member) had the honour of distributing scholarship cheques to the selected students. A total of Rs 5,99,000 was awarded to 55 students pursuing diverse academic paths, including post-graduation, engineering, diploma, law, degree, pre-university, and various trade courses.
In his motivational address, Vijeth Poojary Thumbe encouraged the students to remain dedicated, resilient, and hopeful as they pursue their goals. He also commended the impactful work carried out by Billava Sangha Kuwait in uplifting the community through education.
BSK extends sincere appreciation to the Welfare officer Rajesh Kukian, Joint Welfare officer Sri Dayananda Amin, and their hardworking team for ensuring the smooth execution and memorable success of the event.
