Udupi, Nov 27: The foundation stone for the construction of a mini hall and guest house ‘Punarvasu’ of Adamaru Math under the Sri Vibhudeshatheertha Memorial Charitable Trust (R), Udupi, was laid on November 27, with the blessings of Sri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji and junior pontiff Sri Eshapriya Theertha Swamiji of Adamaru Math.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji of Adamaru Math, said, “Just as we pay taxes to the government, the air and space we use are under the hands of God, and we must pay tax to God as well. When we give someone what they truly need at the right time, that is the tax we pay to God. We perform pooja daily, we may not know whether it reaches God. But when we help others and they smile wholeheartedly, that is when our pooja reaches God.”

Swamiji further recalled the contributions of Vibhudesha Theertha Swamiji, stating that the concrete laid at Car Street by their Guru still remains strong, and appreciated the staff of the guest house, calling them “the pillars who always welcome guests with a smile.”
In his address, Junior Pontiff Sri Eshapriya Theertha Swamiji said, “PPSR was initiated by Sri Vibhudesha Theertha Swamiji, but he passed away before witnessing its success. When it was handed over to us, we faced no difficulty because it was built upon his great vision. Whatever we achieve today is the credit of our senior Swamijis and Ananda Theertha.”
Ravi Panar of Panara Community, expressed gratitude, saying that their community had long wished for a community hall. When they approached Adamaru Math, the Math agreed to provide it as the Prasada of Lord Sri Krishna, acknowledging the selfless service of their ancestors. He also requested an open stage for community use.
On the occasion, the land for the construction of the Panara Community Hall was officially handed over by the Swamijis. A newly built house constructed by Adamaru Math for Shreya, a student who excelled academically in Poorna Prajna College, was also handed over to her family.
Harinarayandas Asranna, hereditary priest of Kateel Sri DurgaParameshwari Temple, delivered the introductory address. Govindaraj welcomed the gathering, and Krishnamoorthi Kedlaya proposed the vote of thanks.
Actor Ramesh Bhat, MLA Yashpal Suvarna, former MLA K Raghupathi Bhat, secretary Poornaprajna Group of Institutions Dr G S Chandrashekar, Ajay Shetty of Ujwal Developers, the Diwan of the Ashta Maths, representatives of Gandhi Hospital, and others were present on the occasion.
