Beltangady: Youth dies in bus–bike collision at Parpikal

Beltangady, Dec 1: A young man lost his life on the spot after a tragic road accident involving a bus and a bike at Parpikal in Beltangady on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Deepak (24), son of Panna Keshava Gowda, a native of Doddaganahalli in Mulbagilu taluk, Kolar district.

According to sources, the accident occurred when a government bus heading towards Dharmasthala collided with a bike travelling from Dharmasthala towards Bengaluru. The impact was so severe that the rider died instantly.

The body has been shifted to Beltangady Government Hospital for further procedures.

Beltangady traffic police visited the spot and have taken up the investigation.
