Moodbidri: Corpus Christi Church organizes Konkani drama titled ‘Yena Zalyar Vosana’

Moodbidri, Dec 1: Corpus Christi Church, Moodbidri, organized a Konkani drama titled ‘Yena Zalyar Vosana’ on Sunday in support of an upcoming church project at Papermill, Moodbidri. The event was held at the Alangar church premises and witnessed an impressive turnout of nearly 800 enthusiastic attendees.

The drama was written and directed by noted playwright Pradeep Barboza from Paladka, an NRI based in Dubai. Known for his engaging style and vibrant storytelling, Barboza, along with his talented troupe, captivated the audience with continuous humour and lively performances. The two-and-a-half-hour show kept the spectators thoroughly entertained from start to finish.

The well-coordinated event was planned and executed under the guidance of Fr Onil D’Souza, with active support from the Parish Pastoral Council members. During the programme, benefactors and sponsors who generously contributed to the cause were honoured by Fr Onil D’Souza for their support and goodwill.

Following the drama, a delicious dinner was served to all gathered, adding a warm and communal touch to the evening. The event concluded on a joyful note, marking a successful step toward the church’s developmental initiatives.
