Delivery executive stabbed to death by minors in East Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 3: A 22-year-old delivery executive was stabbed to death by three minors following an altercation in east Delhi’s Pandav Nagar on Monday night, police said. The juveniles involved in the crime have been apprehended.

The incident occurred around 8.15 pm when the three minors arrived at the spot on a motorcycle and got into a brief argument with the victim. During the altercation, they allegedly attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon and fled the scene.

The victim has been identified as Arun Raj, a resident of Patparganj. After receiving a PCR call, police rushed to the spot and found Raj lying injured. He was immediately shifted to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Preliminary examination revealed that Raj had sustained multiple stab injuries on his neck and chest, a police officer said.

Following the incident, police teams inspected the crime scene and analysed CCTV footage from the area and nearby approach roads. Multiple teams were formed and raids were conducted at suspected locations, leading to the apprehension of the three juvenile accused.

Police said an investigation is underway to ascertain the exact motive behind the murder.
