Railways unveils RailOne super app: Book tickets, track trains and more from a single platform

Daijiworld Media Network – New Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 12: In a major step towards digitising railway travel, Indian Railways has launched its official all-in-one super app, RailOne, offering passengers a seamless platform to access multiple railway services in one place. The app promises to make train journeys smarter, faster, and completely hassle-free.

With RailOne, passengers can book reserved tickets, unreserved tickets, platform tickets, and season tickets all from a single interface. The app also provides train searches, PNR status updates, coach information, and real-time train tracking, giving travellers instant access to essential journey details.

Digital ticketing is expected to significantly reduce long queues at ticket counters, especially during peak travel periods.

Passengers booking unreserved tickets via RailOne will receive a 3% discount on all digital payments, including UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking, and other online modes. This offer, effective from January 14, 2026, encourages commuters to adopt digital ticketing for convenience and faster travel.

The app is freely available on Google Play Store and iOS App Store, and passengers are encouraged to download it to enjoy its user-friendly features and exclusive benefits.

With the introduction of RailOne, Indian Railways has announced the phased discontinuation of the ‘UTS on Mobile’ app from March 1, 2026. Season ticket booking, renewals, and new user registrations on UTS have already been suspended.

Platform ticket bookings and R-Wallet top-ups will also be discontinued, although the app will remain downloadable. Existing UTS users will no longer be able to book platform tickets or recharge R-Wallets and are advised to migrate to RailOne for unreserved tickets and related services.

A Railway spokesperson said, “RailOne brings all key railway services under one roof, empowering passengers to plan their journey efficiently and digitally. We are committed to leveraging technology to make travel smoother, safer, and more convenient across the country.”

The launch of RailOne is part of Indian Railways’ broader push to modernise passenger services and enhance the travel experience using digital solutions.
