Mangaluru, Mar 27: The final year B Tech Project Exhibition–26 was successfully organized at the Srinivas University Institute of Engineering & Technology (SUIET), Mukka, Mangaluru. The event showcased the innovative and technical expertise of final-year engineering students across multiple disciplines. The programme was formally inaugurated by the chief guest, Shrinivas Bhat (director – HR Services at Indivillage Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd), and the guest of honour, Bharatesh Bangera (group project manager at Novigo Solutions Pvt Ltd) by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Dr K Satyanarayana Reddy, vice chancellor, Srinivas University) presided over the programme. Dr Ramakrishna N Hegde (dean of SUIET Mukka), and Prof Anand S Uppar (project coordinator) were present on the dais.








A total of 115 final-year project models were exhibited and demonstrated by students from various branches, including computer science engineering, artificial intelligence & machine learning, cyber security & cyber forensics, electronics & communication engineering, and mechanical & robotics engineering. The exhibition served as a platform for students to present innovative, practical, and industry-relevant solutions. 14 projects have been sponsored by the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST), reflecting the quality, innovation, and societal relevance of the students’ work.
The BTech final-year projects were aligned with emerging technological domains and real-world challenges. The projects focused on areas such as automation, cybersecurity, sustainability, cloud computing, mobile technology, neural networks, and intelligent systems, particularly in applications related to healthcare and real-time automation. Students also developed autonomous systems catering to healthcare, industrial applications, and smart agriculture and monitoring soil health. Several projects addressed critical challenges in secure authentication, AI-driven threat detection, and digital forensic investigations. In addition, significant emphasis was placed on wireless communication, the Internet of Things (IoT), and automation, contributing to the development of smart city solutions and energy-efficient systems.
Following the formal inauguration, the dignitaries visited and reviewed the project exhibits, appreciating the creativity, technical competence, and practical relevance demonstrated by the students. They also congratulated both the students and faculty members for their commendable efforts in developing impactful projects.
Prof Anand S Uppar (HOD, department of artificial intelligence & machine learning) delivered the welcome address and provided an overview of Project Exhibition–26.
Dr Praveen blessings on introduced the chief guest and guest of honour to the gathering. Prof Varsha G Bangera proposed the vote of thanks. Sumanth Bhat rendered the invocation. The programme was compered by Prof Rohan Fernandes and Prof Amrutha Kindalkar, as masters of ceremony.
The event witnessed the presence of Dr Praveen B M (director-research, Srinivas University), Dr Naveen Kumar J R (co-coordinator, Project Exhibition-26), judges from other Engineering Colleges, heads of departments, faculty members, staff, and students, making the exhibition a grand success.
