WB govt appoints IAS officer Saumitra Mohan as Governor’s secretary

Kolkata, May 5: The West Bengal government has appointed senior IAS officer Saumitra Mohan as Secretary to Governor R N Ravi, an official said on Tuesday.

A 2002-batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre, Mohan is currently serving as Secretary in the Transport Department and also holds additional charge of the Labour Department.

“…Mohan has been appointed secretary to the Governor of West Bengal,” a notification issued by the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department stated.
