Bantwal: Car falls into roadside drain after driver loses control; one injured

Bantwal, May 6: A car veered off the road and fell into a roadside drain after the driver reportedly lost control, near Poyodi on the national highway close to Bantwal.

The incident took place on Tuesday May 5.

Lakshan Gowda, a resident of Chikkamagaluru, who was travelling in the car, sustained injuries in the mishap.

Sources said he was on his way from Chikkamagaluru to Mangaluru when the accident occurred.
