Beltangady: KSRTC bus conductor accused of misbehaving with female student, complaint filed

Beltangady, May 10: A female college student has filed a complaint with the Punjalkatte police, alleging that a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus conductor behaved indecently with her while she was traveling.

According to the details of the incident, the student had boarded a government bus plying from Ujire to Mangaluru to return home after her college hours.

The complaint states that as the bus was approaching Beltangady town, the conductor allegedly misbehaved with her under the pretext of issuing a bus ticket.

Following the distressing incident, the student approached the Punjalkatte police station and lodged a formal complaint against the accused conductor. The police have registered the complaint and further investigation is currently underway.
