Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti seeks additional train to Mumbai from minister

Mangaluru, May 25: Founder of Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti, Thonse Jayakrishna A Shetty, along with other office-bearers of the committee, met union minister of state for Railways V Somanna at Jangama Math in Gurupura on May 23 and submitted a memorandum requesting to introduce of an additional regular train service and a Vande Bharat Sleeper Coach train service between Mumbai and Mangaluru.

The memorandum was submitted in the presence of Mangaluru MP Captain Brijesh Chowta. After receiving the request, the minister instructed the Mangaluru MP to pursue the matter further under his guidance.

MLA Bharat Shetty, Swamijis of Jangama Math and Vajradehi Math, state coordinator of the Samiti, K P Jagadish Adhikari, district chairman Harish Kumar M Shetty, members of the district and Mumbai committee and local citizens were also present on the occasion.

On behalf of both the district and central committees, samiti president Nithyananda D Kotian, general secretary Mundkur Surendra Saliyan and other office-bearers and members of the committee expressed gratitude to the minister and all dignitaries present.
