Mysuru, Jun 5: The second day of the Novena devotion in preparation for the grand Annual Feast of St Anthony was prayerfully observed on Friday, June 5 at St Anthony’s Basilica, Dornahalli, Mysuru.
The solemn Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Msgr Anthappa M., vicar general of the Diocese of Mysore. He was joined by Fr David Sagayaraj, rector of St Anthony’s Basilica, and Fr Praveen Pedru, administrator of the Basilica.



























The faithful gathered in large numbers to participate in the Holy Mass and Novena prayers, seeking the intercession of St Anthony and preparing themselves spiritually for the forthcoming feast celebrations.
Following the eucharistic celebration, the novena prayers were offered in honour of St Anthony for the various intentions of the devotees. The devotion concluded with the Procession of the Holy Statue of St Anthony and the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, creating an atmosphere of prayer, devotion, and spiritual renewal.
As the Basilica continues its nine-day Novena in preparation for the Annual Feast, devotees from different parts of Karnataka and neighbouring regions are expected to participate in the upcoming celebrations, seeking the blessings and intercession of St Anthony.
