Mendes brings more than 14 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector, with expertise in multi-venue operations, concept development, pre-opening projects and business performance optimisation.

He began his career in food and beverage operations and has held key leadership positions with renowned hospitality brands, including Grand Hyatt, Renaissance, St. Regis and Four Seasons.

Throughout his career, Mendes has managed award-winning restaurants, bars, banqueting facilities and private residences, while leading large teams and overseeing complex food and beverage operations. His experience includes driving revenue growth, improving operational efficiency and maintaining high service standards.

He has also played an active role in strategic initiatives involving pricing models, menu engineering, digital analytics and sustainability practices, while ensuring strong compliance with food safety, hygiene and guest satisfaction standards.

In his new role, Mendes will oversee the resort's operational functions, focusing on service delivery, business performance and overall operational strategy.
