Nagpur, Jun 16: A 24-year-old woman, the wife of an Indian Air Force officer, has alleged that she was drugged, raped, blackmailed with obscene videos, extorted of money and pressured to convert her religion, leading to the arrest of two persons in Nagpur.
The case came to light after the woman recently informed her husband about the alleged incidents and subsequently lodged a complaint with the police.
According to police, the accused have been identified as Ayyaz Taj Madare (26) and Ameen Sheikh (30), both of whom have been arrested. A search is underway for a third accused, Hazrat Maulana, a resident of Tamia in Madhya Pradesh.

Police said the complainant's husband is serving in the Indian Air Force and is currently posted outside Nagpur. The woman is engaged in property dealing.
According to the complaint, Madare contacted her in February 2025 on the pretext of purchasing a plot and invited her to a hotel on Wardha Road.
The woman alleged that he served her juice mixed with an intoxicating substance, following which she lost consciousness. She claimed that Madare then raped her and recorded videos and photographs of the incident.
The complaint further stated that the accused allegedly used the obscene videos to blackmail her, repeatedly sexually exploiting her and extorting Rs 3.09 lakh over a period of time.
The woman also alleged that she was pressured to embrace Islam and was compelled to participate in various activities presented as religious rituals.
According to the complaint, in May the accused allegedly took her to Kalmeshwar near Nagpur, where she was introduced to Ameen Sheikh and Hazrat Maulana.
She claimed that the three accused took her to a secluded location, performed certain rituals and declared that her religious conversion had been completed. The woman has further alleged that another attempt to rape her was made thereafter.
A video that has surfaced online is being examined as part of the investigation. In the footage, a woman can be heard repeatedly pleading to be released while a man is seen holding her and reciting religious verses. Police have not yet commented on the authenticity or evidentiary value of the video.
After learning about the alleged incidents, the woman's husband accompanied her to file a complaint at Sonegaon Police Station.
Police have registered a case under various sections related to rape, extortion, attempted religious conversion and provisions of the Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and Other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act.
The two arrested accused have been remanded to five days of police custody by a court, while efforts are continuing to trace the third accused. Police said further investigation is underway.
