Mumbai, March 18 (IANS): Sukhwinder Singh has sung a 22-minute song for actor-producer Aamir Khan's TV reality show "Satyameva Jayate". The Bollywood singer says the star's involvement and dedication to the project amazes him.
"Yes, I have sung a song which will be used in the title track and some will be incorporated in the show. It is a dream song; it is a song which will reflect humanity and nationality," said Sukhwinder, known for his "Chaiyya chaiyya" song.
The song has been written by Prasoon Joshi and composed by Ram Sampath. However, the singer was surprised to see Aamir's involvement in each part of the show that will soon be telecast on Star Plus.
"I was stunned to see Aamir's involvement. He will keep a tab on everything. If I am coming for his recording, he will know where I have reached and how long will it take me to reach. He will see to it I get each comfort during his song recording," he said.
"Aamir said he has been working on this project for around two years. I could see the passion in his eyes whenever we used to work together. He has done a tremendous job," he added.
Aamir says the show is his most ambitious project and because of it he has delayed the release of his film "Talaash".
