New Delhi, Jun 29: Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal is leading a high-level Indian business delegation to Greece with a focus on expanding bilateral trade, investment opportunities and strategic economic cooperation.
The visit follows his successful engagements in the United Kingdom, where he concluded discussions at the India-UK: Partners in Progress Business Plenary in London.
The UK engagement highlighted the growing momentum in India-UK economic relations, with leading industry representatives from both countries expressing support for the proposed Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), which is expected to strengthen trade and investment partnerships.

The government said the UK and Greece visits reflect India's continued efforts to expand global economic partnerships, encourage innovation-driven growth and strengthen trade and investment diplomacy in important international markets.
During the Greece visit, the Indian delegation will participate in presentations and startup pitches at The Athens Startup Business Incubator (THEA), providing a platform for emerging Indian and Greek enterprises to explore innovation and cross-border collaboration.
The delegation will also take part in focused roundtable discussions with business leaders from India and Greece at the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI).
The discussions will focus on key sectors including infrastructure, digitalisation, defence, food and agriculture, with an aim to identify new areas of cooperation and strengthen private sector partnerships.
The programme will include high-level business interactions involving stakeholders from both countries to explore investment opportunities and commercial partnerships across priority sectors.
The delegation is also scheduled to visit leading Greek companies to explore collaboration in advanced manufacturing and technology-driven industries, with the objective of enhancing industrial cooperation between the two nations.
The visit will conclude with meetings involving business and institutional representatives aimed at deepening industry partnerships and expanding bilateral trade relations.
