London, Jul 11: World No. 1 Jannik Sinner produced a commanding display to defeat seven-time champion Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 on Friday and book his place in the Wimbledon men's singles final.
The straight-sets victory answered any lingering doubts over Sinner's physical condition following his disappointing exit at the French Open and marked a measure of revenge after Djokovic defeated him in five sets in the semi-finals of this year's Australian Open.
The Italian dominated throughout the contest, overpowering the 39-year-old Serbian to reach his second consecutive Grand Slam final.

Djokovic, who was chasing a record-extending 25th Grand Slam singles title, fell short once again in his bid to add to his tally of 24 major championships.
Defending Wimbledon champion Sinner will now face second seed Alexander Zverev in Sunday's final as he seeks to retain the grass-court Grand Slam title.
Earlier on Centre Court, Zverev ended British wildcard Arthur Fery's impressive run with a convincing 7-6 (7-0), 6-2, 6-4 victory.
The German will be aiming to lift another Grand Slam trophy just a month after capturing his maiden major title at Roland Garros.
The women's singles final, scheduled for Saturday, will feature an all-Czech clash between Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova.
