London, Jul 14: The Indian women's cricket team created history by registering their first-ever Test victory at Lord's, defeating England by a commanding 270 runs in the one-off match on Monday.
Defending a formidable target of 457, India bowled out England for 186 on the final day to seal one of the biggest victories in their Test history.
The triumph marked India's seventh win in their last 11 women's Tests and extended their unbeaten record in Test cricket on English soil.

It was also the first women's Test to be played at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground, making India's victory even more significant.
Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya congratulated the team, describing the achievement as a historic milestone.
In a post on social media, Mandaviya said becoming the first women's team to win a Test match at Lord's was a remarkable feat, adding that the emphatic 270-run victory over England made the achievement even more memorable.
Congratulatory messages also poured in from Union ministers Piyush Goyal, Kiren Rijiju and Jyotiraditya Scindia, while the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) lauded the team for its historic success.
