Mr. Shaun, Mangalore, I want to ask you something. In 2011, India won the cricket world cup and the final match held in Mumbai, but the whole India celebrated the victory. Why not you questioned the people of India? No one questioned, because its a victory for every Indian. Same way Congress won in Udupi-Chikmagalur bypoll and its a victory for every Congress.

Nice to see congress supporters finally getting a chance to get on the streets to celebrate a election victory after 13 years in Udupi. The last they celbrated was in 1999 when Vinaykumar Sorake had won. Hope they get to repeat the celebrations in Mangalore too atleast in the next election, which will be after 25 years... Great WAIT... as B J Poojary won for Congress last in 1989. All these blind supporters of the congress party do deserve this celebration to be able to lead as blind for the next 25 years.... Good Luck my dear EX CITIZENS.... Keep up your blind faith... and wait in earnest for the sun to shine....

My special congratulations to Mr.J.P.Hegde . But the main couple behind this win is Oscar & Blossom Fernandes besides the good effort of the Congress Party workers.Blossom Fernandes too made resounding speaches and got the Christian women to vote.Oscar played the mouth organ at many rallies which entertained the voters.Oscar's son Ocean Fernandes was the Congress election Manager organising things from behind the scenes.

J.P.Hegde put in his very best too.He deserved to win as he has an untarnished image unlike his opponents. He is a very secular leader and very helpful too.If he has 5 Rs in his pocket he will give 4 Rs in charity. He is a philanthropist and deserved victory. Also, he will not encourage goondagiri.Thank God for that.

Most of the goondas in the Udupi constituency will now become jobless and incomeless. They will be forced to earn by ploughing the fields henceforth.

Waste of time, money and energy. And also a non-sense celebration like that on the main road is such an inconvenience to the public. The victory is in Udupi, not Mangalore...
