Mangalore: National Level Documentary, Short Film Contest 'Shooting Stars' on Mar 24

Mangalore, Mar 22: The journalism department of St Aloysius College (SAC) will organize ‘Shooting Stars’, a national level documentary and short film making competition, at SAC Eric Mathias hall, on Saturday March 24.

M Sadanand Suvarna, a popular film and theater personality, who received the Karanth Award in 2009, will be the chief guest on the occasion.

SAC vice principal Veronica Judith Pinto will be the guest of honour.

Fr Richard Rego, head of department of mass communication and media studies, will preside over the programme.

The movies that are entered by the contestants will be screened at 11.00 am on Saturday followed by the valedictory function at 12.30 pm.
