Mumbai, Aug 6: Shreya Kalra emerged as the winner of Netflix's reality show 'Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa', bringing the debut season to a close after weeks of intense challenges, emotional moments and dramatic eliminations.

The grand finale streamed on Netflix on Wednesday evening, with hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh announcing Shreya as the winner. She walked away with the coveted trophy and the Rs 1 crore cash prize.

The finale featured celebrity and media jury members, including Prince Narula, Shiv Thakare, Awez Darbar and several journalists, who questioned the finalists before casting votes that contributed to the final result. The episode also included special performances by the finalists, while several eliminated contestants returned to mark the conclusion of the season.

Shreya's journey in the competition was marked by her outspoken nature and willingness to stand by her opinions. She frequently confronted fellow contestants and refused to alter her stance despite criticism or opposition. Although she entered the show carrying the label of "Badtameez", she gradually earned recognition for remaining true to her beliefs and playing the game on her own terms.

Throughout the season, Shreya also displayed loyalty towards her fellow contestants, often putting others ahead of herself during crucial tasks. Her expectation of honesty and commitment from her allies, however, led to several disagreements inside the house.

The five finalists of the season were Shivangi Joshi, Ram Kapoor, Shreya Kalra, Shilpa Shinde and Yogesh Rawat. Among them, Shreya and Shivangi had emerged as the strongest contenders on social media ahead of the grand finale.

By the end of the competition, Shreya established herself as one of the season's strongest and most memorable contestants, ultimately securing the title of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa Season 2.
