KSRTC passengers get up to 10% discount for Kerala travel

Bengaluru, Aug 9: With the Onam festival and a series of holidays approaching, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced special discounts and additional bus services for passengers travelling from Bengaluru to various parts of Kerala.

Passengers booking tickets online in advance can avail discounts of up to 10% under the special scheme.

Under the group booking offer, passengers who reserve seats for four or more people under a single ticket will receive a 5% discount on the basic fare.

Passengers booking both onward and return tickets together will be eligible for a 10% discount on the fare of the return journey.

90 additional special buses

KSRTC will operate additional special buses from Bengaluru to various destinations in Kerala from August 21 to 25 to facilitate the travel of Kerala-origin passengers living in Bengaluru for the Onam celebrations.

Special buses will also operate from various parts of Kerala to Bengaluru on August 30 to facilitate the return journey after the festival.

How to book tickets

Passengers can reserve their seats in advance through the official KSRTC concession and booking portal or the KSRTC official website.

Tickets can also be purchased directly from KSRTC ticket counters at major locations in Kerala as well as key Bengaluru centres, including Majestic and Shanthinagar.
