Mangaluru, Aug 10: Rosario Cathedral, Mangaluru, through its Commission for Women, Commission for Family and ICYM Rosario, in collaboration with Father Muller Medical College Hospital and Indian Cancer Society, organised a free health camp on Sunday, August 9 at the Rosario Cultural Hall.
The health camp received an encouraging response from parishioners and members of the local community. The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare and provide access to medical consultations and basic health screenings.

















A team of doctors and healthcare professionals from Father Muller Medical College Hospital provided a range of services, including ECG, ENT consultation, general medicine, blood sugar testing, obstetrics & gynaecology, surgical oncology, breast examination, pap smear, ophthalmology, speech & hearing assessment and pharmacy services.
Fr Valerian D’Souza, parish priest of Rosario Cathedral inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Dr Elroy Saldanha of Father Muller Medical College Hospital, Ranjith of Indian Cancer Society, Cyril Rosario, vice president of parish pastoral council, Aldrin Vaz, coordinator of the Parish Pastoral 21 Commissions, Ida Furtado, secretary of parish pastoral council and Viola Correa, president of ICYM Rosario were present on the occasion.
Gladys Pereira, convenor of the Commission for Women, welcomed the gathering. Ida Kutinha, convenor of Commission for family proposed the vote of thanks. Riyana Monteiro compered the programme.
