Mangaluru: Two migrant workers injured after falling from under-construction building

Mangaluru, Aug 14: Two migrant workers were injured after allegedly falling from an under-construction building at Kotekar Beeri in Ullal on Thursday afternoon.

The injured workers have been identified as Shakir, 32, and Haider, 33, both from Delhi.

The incident occurred while the two were working on the second floor of a five-storey building that is under construction. They are said to have accidentally fallen from the building while carrying out work.

Both workers, who sustained serious injuries, were immediately shifted to a private hospital in Deralakatte for treatment. Shakir's condition is reportedly critical, while both continue to receive treatment at the hospital.

Ullal police visited the spot and conducted an inspection following the incident. A complaint has been registered and an investigation is underway.
