Udupi, Mar 26: Kaup Lions Club former president K M Lutpulla inaugurated the district-level volleyball and throwball competitions that was organized for teachers under the aegis of Dandateerta Education Institutions and Kaup JCI, at Dandateerta School grounds, on Sunday March 25.
 
Dr Prabhakar Shetty, correspondent, Dandateerta Education Institutions, Kaup, presided over the programme on Sunday morning.

JCI east zonal president Y Sukumar, Jaya Karnataka organization Udupi district president Janani Divakar Shetty, Kaup Billawara Sahayaka Sangh president Madhav R Palan, JCI zonal officers Praveen Kumar Gurme and Deepak Kumar Yermal, taluk physical education teachers’ association honorary president Sitaram Shetty Kalattoor, Dandateerta education institutions vice-principal Nilanand were the chief guests on the occasion.
 
Jaya Karnataka office-bearer Nityanand, Karunakar, Mark D’Souza, and Kaup JCI past president Rajendra B K were present on the occasion.
 
Kaup JCI president Shivanna Bayar welcomed the gathering. Secretary Yogish Rai proposed the vote of thanks. JCI vice-president and journalist Rakesh Kunjur compered the programme.
