Udupi Deanery SCC Meet at Udyavar Parish

Udupi, Mar 26: The deanery SCC meet was held at Udyavar church, here on Sunday March 25 from 9 am to 3 pm. Fr Baptist Menezes, episcopal vicar of Udupi presided over the programme.

Fr Fred Mascarenhas, vicar vara, Fr Walter D'Souza director of SCC Mangalore diocese, Fr Alphonse D'Leema, parish priest of Gangoli and the resource person, Fr Charles Noronha, parish priest of Udyavar, Fr Rupesh Madtha SCC convenor of Udupi deanery, Fr Santosh Saldanha,  assistant parish priest of Moodbelle and Fr Simon D'Souza, assistant parish priest of Katpadi, John D'Souza, secretory of Udupi pastoral parishad, vice president of Udyavar parish were present.

All vice presidents, secretaries and parish SCC conveners and parish pastoral parishad members and others were present. FR Rupesh welcomed the gathering. Varado SCC coordinator Eugine D'Souza proposed the vote of thanks.

Fr A Dleema and Fr Walter D'Souza And team members conducted the session on "Seva Dharm" - importance of Service in SCC ward gatherings. Fr Rupesh Madtha was the organiser of the event.

Three parishes presented theme based culture programme on importance of service. There was also a group discussion and question answer session to clarify the doubts on SCC.
