Moodbidri: ‘Splash’12’, Techno-cultural Fest Held at Dr M V Shetty Institute of Technology

Moodbidri, Mar 27: ‘Splash 12’, a techno-cultural fest held at Dr M V Shetty Institute of Technology, here was inaugurated by Kishore Alva, vice president Udupi Power Corporation Ltd (UPCL).

Kishore Alva appreciated efforts of Dr M Ramgopal Shetty, founder secretary, Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust for his contribution in the field of education and cultural events. Prof K K Gaffar, director Oman Medical Health Education inaugurated the blood donation drive and he stressed the importance of blood donation and appreciated the students and organization for their contribution.

Dr M Ramgopal Shetty, secretary of MVSIT thanked Kishore Alva and Prof K K Gaffar for their presence and requested them for their constant guidance and support for the institution.

The presence of Dr Divyanjali Shetty trustee and convener of Splash’12, Dr U T Ifthikar Ali, vice convener of Splash’12 made the event more graceful.

Principal of the institution and chairman of Splash’12 Dr Sandeep J Nayak and vice chairman of Splash’12 Prof Suresh Kumar were also present.

Arjun, forth year IS and Shruthi, 4th year EEE were the masters of ceremony. Afnan 4th year CSE welcomed the dignitaries and Sridar, forth year ECE delivered vote of thanks.

    It is nice to see that so many good things are happening in my home town Moodbidri in the fields of Education and Culture, thanks to the philanthropists and social workers like Dr.M.V.Shetty, Dr. Alva, etc.
