Mumbai, Sep 6: Actress Shilpa Shetty took a nostalgic trip down memory lane over the weekend as she decided to Sunday Binge her memorable hit _Dhadkan_.

Shilpa shared a hilarious video on her official Instagram handle, showing herself getting her makeup and hair done while the popular track _Dulhe Ka Sehra Suhana Lagta Hai_ from _Dhadkan_ played on television in the background.

The actress gave the song her own twist, singing along and pulling funny expressions and gestures that left those around her in stitches.

She captioned the post, **“Sunday Binge or Sunday Cringe (sic)”**, followed by laughing-with-tears emojis.

Her post prompted several fans to defend the song, with one commenting, “Dulhe Ka Sehra, hahaha not that cringe. Until now it’s my favorite song from my fav movie.”

Another wrote, “This song is not cringe it was masterpiece.”

Sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and composed by the duo Nadeem–Shravan, _Dulhe Ka Sehra Suhana Lagta Hai_ remains one of the most popular wedding tracks. The lyrics were penned by Sameer.

### More than two decades later

_Dhadkan_, believed to be a loose adaptation of Emily Brontë’s _Wuthering Heights_, tells the story of Anjali, played by Shilpa Shetty, who is forced to marry Ram, portrayed by Akshay Kumar, despite being in love with Dev, played by Suniel Shetty.

Ram eventually proves to be a loving and devoted husband, while Dev becomes a wealthy businessman driven by revenge.

Directed by Dharmesh Darshan, the film featured Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Shilpa Shetty and Mahima Chaudhry in the lead roles. Sharmila Tagore, Parmeet Sethi, Kiran Kumar, Sushma Seth and Manjeet Kullar were also part of the cast in supporting roles.

Produced by Ratan Jain under the banner of Venus Records & Tapes, _Dhadkan_ continues to remain popular among movie buffs more than two decades after its release.
