Mangaluru, Sep 12: Ahead of the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festival and a series of celebrations, the North Sub-Division of Mangaluru City police organised a peace and harmony meeting at the auditorium of Kavoor Cooperative Soudha under the Kavoor police station limits.
DCP (Law and Order), Mangaluru City police, Sam Varghese, addressed the gathering and provided detailed guidance on law and order and traffic regulations to be strictly followed during Ganeshotsava celebrations.
“Festivals are a symbol of harmony and communal amity. Everyone should respect the law and celebrate peacefully without giving room for any untoward incidents,” he advised.









Religious leaders, representatives of various public Ganeshotsava committees and local leaders from the North Sub-Division participated in the meeting and shared their views and suggestions regarding festival arrangements and traffic management.
ACP of the North Sub-Division K Srikanth, Kavoor police station inspector Nagaraj T D, Surathkal police station inspector Pramod, Bajpe police station inspector Balakrishna, along with other police officers and personnel, were present
